




In 2022 National Maritime Museum Cornwall commissioned Illyria to create a unique piece of theatre, to breathe life into the main hall over the summer season. This became ‘I Saw A Monster’. A twenty minute blast of comic entertainment with an underlying environmental message.
We worked with illustrator Rose Forshall to create an arresting campaign image, featuring the central character surrounded by fictional monsters, and the true threat of ocean plastic. The museums ongoing family programme is an important thread, supporting the major exhibitions and driving repeat visits.
We’re currently working on an exciting new campaign to support this years production which will launch in the coming months.
