Where is all started. Unreleased album artwork for Rairbirds, Wars of Mine e.p, 2002.
To celebrate twenty years of A–Side, we decided to hang some work from the archive in the café downstairs. Rather than featuring our most prevalent work, we pulled together a selection of B–Sides; forgotten projects, process snapshots, and work which didn’t make the cut.
The idea was simple, but sifting through 5,000 projects demanded a brutal edit. We settled on 11 compositions, each representing an era defining piece of work.
We put together a guide to accompany the exhibition and add context to the work with short stories.
B–Sides wraps up on November 4th. We’ll keep back some copies of the exhibition guide which can be picked up from Stones, Krowji, for those who can’t make the show.

Parochia, a one-off promotional zine for Loose-fit surfshop, 2006. Alternative cover design.
King’s Cross was a monumental project, derailed by Covid. Illustration by Pete Murgatroyd.
