In 2022 we worked with Atlantic Blankets to refine and relaunch their brand. We examined their market position, heritage and future goals, and created a strategy to help them meet their ambition.
We evolved their logotype to a softer, more approachable marque which sits comfortably at the core of the new visual identity. Then we built a brand toolkit which we applied to product, packaging, print and digital.
The new identity is understated and subtly applied, so it integrates as the product style flexes from classic herringbone, to traditional tartan, to contemporary Scandinavian designs.
One of the key outputs was a new Shopify site, to present the enhanced product line in an accessible way, and to build narrative around the blankets, showing the positive impact a simple rectangle of yarn can have on peoples lives.
Communicating scale is a barrier to selling blankets online, so we developed infographics to help online customers navigate the products.
The product line goes beyond blankets, everything they make is tied to an ethos of making the most comfortable product with sustainable principles. The packaging has been plastic free since 2018.
